Written during the week after Queen Elizabeth peacefully passed away, this organ piece is based on the hymn tune "Eventide", known to most as "Abide With Me, Fast Falls the Eventide". Using this lovely melody, it is set as a cortege, like you might hear in a funeral procession, with the steady pulse in the pedals being like that of the somber drum beat. It was written and recorded on a two manual instrument. Video will be uploaded at OrganGuyPhil on YouTube.
