Meredith Willson worked on his Broadway musical "The Music Man" for nearly ten years before it was premiered in 1957. It became an instant hit, and the Beatles popularized "Till there was You" with their 1963 album Meet the Beatles! This version of the song is written to either feature each member of the brass quintet, or to be the accompaniment for a vocal singer with five brass. This arrangement works well for concerts, recitals, weddings or background music.
