Product Description

A symphonic poem by Dvorak, composed in early 1896. The work is about a king, who whilst travelling, through a forest, came across a local girl, Domenicka. They fall in love and get married. The king goes to battle, whilst away, the identical step-sister murders Domeicka. The king finds out about this, via a golden spinning wheel, who brings the girl back to life. Then king hears about what's happened, he punishes the sister and mother, and throws them to the wolves and lives happily ever after.
