This lovely, lyrical, 50s-style ballad will take you right back to summer nights at the drive-in, poodle skirts, sock hops, and Little Richard on the jukebox. Arranged for saxophone quartet, (S, A, T, Bari), this original piece is great as a way to feature the sax players in a larger ensemble or a colorful addition to an all-quartet program. Any of the main sections of the piece can be repeated as a vehicle for improvisation.
The download includes a transposed score, a full set of parts, and a standard, concert-key lead sheet. The baritone part does include a single, high F# in an exposed melodic section, so an F# key could come in handy.
