Nocturnia No. 1, Walking On The Blue Side is an illustration of the fragile border that exists between happiness and melancholy. It is the simple idea that one can, at any moment, suddenly pass from nothing to anything, without being able to do anything. The word "Walking" refers to the left-handed mode of play called Walking Bass often used in jazz piano that I used. It's finally a nod to Pink Floyd's album "Dark Side of the Moon" and Miles Davis' album "Kind of Blue".
