Product Description

'Bossa Copa' initially was supposed to be a piece for a Big band but eventually became the first Bulgarian symphonic composition with saxophone quartet as soloists. It was written for the 12th International composition competition in 7/8 (Sofia, Bulgaria) and was awarded with 2nd prize. The title is a word-play and comes from the way the composer mixes the rhythms of Brazilian 'bossa nova' and the Bulgarian folklore dance 'kopanitsa' (11/8 or 11/16). The soloists are the members of Quartet 'Gori' - the first Bulgarian sax quartet whose founder is Goran Tashev (alto sax).

NB. Since I don't know how to upload the set of parts - if you purchase the score just send me here vasil_belezhkov@mail.bg a screenshot of your payment and I'll send you the entire '.rar' for free.
