Product Description

The composition aims to be a musical reflection on a sort of "inner path" of the human being: "Limes", that is, "path", starting from a phase of innocence and light-heartedness (Part One: "the refusal of love for the life ", text taken from Aminta del Tasso) passing through the phase of falling in love for the beauty of an ideal partner, which is a metaphor for the beauty of life itself, (Part Two:" the enchantment of beauty ", the text of which is Shakespeare's sonnet XXIV) to reach a stage of maturation in which man becomes aware of the precariousness of his existence and asks himself the big questions about life. He therefore tries to take refuge in the dream as an escape, in the estrangement from life itself and in the search for an innocence and an unawareness of the subjective existence that seems to give him the only form of serenity ("the dream as a refuge from the precariousness of life", text from La via del Rifugio by Guido Gozzano).
