Product Description
Exaudi is a cantata in three movements for symphony orchestra and SATB choir, by the Scotland-based Italian composer Alfredo Caponnetto.
It symbolizes a spiritual journey through our innermost hopes and afflictions. The words are taken freely from Psalm 55, and in this new layout their meaning becomes more universal, crossing the line between religion and philosophy.
The clear and expressive aspects of the works musical language, solidly based on modal counterpoint, coexist in the composition with powerful vertical dissonances.
In its whole, the piece reflects the delicate equilibrium of the unstable and fragile elements which form the nature of the human spirit.
The duration of the work is approximately 25 minutes. For additional information or to order parts, please contact enquiries@europaedition.com or visit www.europaedition.com.
