Product Description

This work is a musical picture of the life of the Norwegian composer Rikard Nordraak. He and Edvard Grieg wanted to create a Norwegian musical expression and a Norwegian music based on Norwegian folk music traditions. In addition, he was known as a positive, cheerful and excited person. However, as is well known, Nordraaks life ended abruptly, he became infected with tuberculosis, and died a painful death on a beautiful May day in Berlin in 1866.

This work is dedicated to Rikard Nordraak's memory.
