This is a four voice fugue. Although tonal, the main subject carries all twelve tones, and only a few of them are repeated within the subject. This technique is similar to that found in the subject from J.S. Bach's Fugue No. 24 in B Minor from The Well Tempered Clavier, Book 1. Throughout the fugue, Episode passages are clearly indicated by key modulations shown among triplets. Once more, I have established a journey from B major to B major, but rather than modulating by descending chromatic steps, I have used the circle of fifths.
