The work was dedicated to his teaching colleague A.W. Dunstall.
This brass quintet arrangement (for instruments of the brass band family) portrays the rich sounds of the organ and its various use of stops (registration). The Fantasia uses as its primary theme The First Nowell and concludes with O Come All Ye Faithful! Although it is considered an Ephiphany Carol, it is still a wonderful addition to your Christmas season repertoire.
