Product Description
Composed in 2008 (revised 2014); studio recorded in 2015.
Duration: 3 minutes, 16 seconds; one movement.
Level: Great for student recital piece; popular with college students. Expressive and easy to personalize. Appropriate for intermediate students, but challenging enough to be of interest to professionals as well.
Program notes: One wanders off alone to an isolated area, talking out loud in a conversational way, maybe to oneself, or having a conversation with someone imaginary or who isnt present. As this conversation goes on, they start losing themselves in time and place, and the words they are saying start intensifying. They become enraptured to a breaking point, until eventually they snap back, return to the present, recollect where they are, take a deep breath and move on.
