"The Promised Land" is a fanfare style arrangement based on the hymn version of "On Jordan's Stormy Banks I Stand" by Rigdon M. McIntosh (1836-1889). Rigdon M. McIntosh was raised in Maury County, Tennessee and taught music at Jackson College in Columbia and also at Vanderbilt. This arrangement is the 4th movement of the "Middle Tennessee Suite". Parts include Baritone TC. Download consist of enough parts for a large band. Duration is 3:50. Grade 3.5.
