Product Description
This short tuned percussion piece was designed for use in the high school music classroom (ages 11-14). The title, Tresillo, refers to the repeated use of the 3+3+2 quaver pattern, within a 4/4 time signature. This syncopated rhythm is a strong musical feature of many countries, especially from South America, the Caribbean, and Africa. The piece was crafted within a ternary form, featuring simple triadic ascending and descending sequences. It can be performed on classroom glockenspiels, xylophones, chime bars, or other similar instruments.
Duration: 1 minute 00 seconds.
