As the title suggests, this piano piece is based upon the repetition of a series of cycles. The work opens with a chord sequence, primarily of seventh chords, and texturally varies each repetition. The piece is designed in an arch, reaching a central apex before returning the opening sections, in reverse order, and with further variety. Almost inevitably, the work's spinning 'rotations' come to a close as it reaches a similar state to the opening. The piece is highly accessible and is appropriate for most standards of pianist, including students and advanced players.
