This is an instrumental ensemble arrangement of Gerardo
Matos Rodríguezs La Cumparsita. This music is arranged for alto saxophones,
horns, xylophones, timpani, triangles, cymbals, piano, guitars, bass guitar,
violins, and erhus. Saxophones, horns, violins, and erhus play the primary and
secondary melodies, complemented by the accompaniment from the remaining
instruments of the ensemble. The arrangement is scored for 29-48 performers.
