Product Description
A Charleston Love Story (original German Title: Liebescharleston) was written as a present for my wife on our wedding day - the first performance was an integral part of the wedding ceremony.
The title is based on Piazollas Libertango as I phonetically mistook the Spanish Libertad (liberty) in the title of Libertango for the German Liebe (love), thus creating the portmanteau combining love and Charleston. That is why the structural and harmonic ideas are also loosely based on Piazollas classic Tango.
BlechMafia's experience: A Charleston Love Story is a cool jazz piece with rhythms that quickly get stuck in your head! A great addition to the BlechMafia repertoire.
This original composition is suitable for professionals, students and ambitious amateurs.
Duration: ca. 3:30
Trumpet and trombone parts are available in both Bb and C.
