Reflection on the Water, a 2 page piece in the key of C at the early intermediate level, is the fifth piece from a set of 12 pieces entitled "Something For Every Season". The first piece in each season is at the mid to late elementary level, the second piece is at the early intermediate level and the third piece is at the intermediate level. Reflection on the Water, for the summer season, is in 4/4 time, uses broken chord inversions in the right hand and outlines primary chords in the left hand. The damper pedal is used as well as octave leaps, crescendo and diminuendo. This piece ends on a rolled chord.
