Product Description

This piece, scored for classical guitar ensemble with four parts plus narrator, tells the tragic history of the decimation of the inland Inuit in the Canadian Barrenlands. Surviving multiple rounds of disease and starvation, Kikkik was the very last of her people to come in from the wilds to enter civilization. Performance time is 18 minutes with a demand level of intermediate. This piece can be paired with Alone on Wrangel Island as a set with the title Two Remakable Inuit Women.
