Product Description

Louis Moureau Gottschalk (1829-1869) was on of the first great American virtuoso pianists. He studied and performed in Europe and settled in the Carribean. He heard the workers (Gibaros) sing this song and arranged it for solo piano. This arrangement makes much of the ethnic rhythms that Gottschalk used. Duration of work: 6'30".
