Product Description

NOTE: We have TWO related products based on the OST of the Studio Ghibli film "Ocean Waves" ("" or "Umiga Kikoeru" in Japanese). Track 02, "Umiga Kikoeru," is instrumental in the key of G-Bb-G (approx. 6 min.). Track 10, "Umini Naretara," is vocal in the key of D (approx. 4.5 min.). Both of these pieces are composed by Shigeru Nagata and develop around the same theme in different ways.

This product (Umini Naretara) contains multiple versions of the same song in a single PDF file. The multi-part versions also contain part scores. As a result, there are a large number of pages.

Versions included in this product:
[A] Piano Solo, 5 pages
[B] Piano Solo (shortened/simplified), 3 pages
[C] Flute/Oboe/Clarinet/Trumpet/Alto Sax & Piano Duet, 19 pages
[D] Voice (A4-D6)/Flute/Oboe with Ensemble (Key of D as in the OST, the base for the other versions), 26 pages
[E] Voice (F4-Bb5)/Flue/Oboe/Clarinet/Trumpet/Alto Sax & Piano Duet (Key of B flat for a lower range), 23 pages
[F] String Quartet, 15 pages

Versions D and E include lyrics in Japanese and the corresponding romanization in the following manner:

mas shi ro na yu me

Each of the above versions has the corresponding audio which is computer-generated directly from the score (vocal parts are replaced by an instrument). These are included in the linked Youtube video (https://youtu.be/i09vA8FMu6o).

Literal translation:
- "Umiga Kikoeru" or "Umi-ga Kikoeru" = I can hear the sea
- "Umini Naretara" or "Umi-ni Naretara" = If I could become the ocean (If I could be the sea)
