Product Description

Odeon is a very well-known maxixe composed by the Brazilian composer Ernesto Nazareth. A maxixe is a Brazilian dance that shares some similarities with samba and tango, which is why it's often referred to as the Brazilian tango. Like most of Nazareth's works, this piece was originally composed for piano.

In this arrangement for Saxophone Trio ATB, the melody alternates between the three saxophones. I transposed the piece from C-sharp minor to D minor to better fit the Saxophone Trio's range and sound.

Saxophone Trio ATB. Duration: 2:45 min. Level: 5/5

Part 1: Alto Sax
Part 2: Tenor Sax
Part 3: Baritone Sax
Score in C

A high-quality arrangement by a professional musician. It also includes interesting information about the piece and helpful tips for interpretation. For more information, please visit my website: www.benjaminkaraca.com.
