Product Description

The violin virtuoso Niccolo Paganini wrote this scale study in 1829 and dedicated it to the piano prodigy Clara Wieck. She later married Robert Schumann and is also known as Clara Schumann. Originally, the etude was written in the key of C major.

I have arranged the etude for four saxophones and transposed it from C major to A-flat major. This allowed me to add a large number of substitute voices. As a result, the etude can now be played with a variety of combinations of Soprano, Alto, Tenor, or Baritone Saxophones. The etude is a wonderful opportunity to practice intonation as an ensemble.

Saxophone Quartet in various lineups (SATB, AATB, AAAT etc.). Level 2/5.

Part 1: Soprano Sax / Alto Sax
Part 2: Soprano Sax / Alto Sax / Tenor Sax
Part 3: Soprano Sax / Alto Sax / Tenor Sax
Part 4: Tenor Sax / Baritone Sax / Bass Sax
Score in C
