Enrique Granados was an influential Spanish composer of the late 19th and early 20th who was noted for his nationalistic style. Perhaps influenced by his father's position in the military, he wrote a number of characteristic marches in a style unlike that of the usual American style. Slower in pace, they reflect their origin melodically and rhythmically. This arrangement for Clarinet Choir maintains that character.
