Caddo County Sunrise is inspired by the rolling hills and sprawling red clay farmland in southwestern Oklahoma. The piece is set in Eb Mixolydian and later modulates to F Mixolydian. The somewhat simple melody features some syncopation and octaves in both hands. This "movement" is suitable for advanced intermediate pianists and is approximately 4 minutes and 20 seconds in length.
