Lluvia, viento y caña es una pieza compuesta por el bajista cubano Israel López "Cachao". Esta versión para cuarteto de saxofones inicia con un estilo clásico. Luego, la melodía cambia en letra A siguiendo un ritmo de calipso el cual es originario de las costas del caribe. La obra retoma el carácter de música clásica por un instante en letra J, y termina con ritmo de calipso.La parte de percusión es opcional, puede no utilizarse.

It was composed by the Cuban bass player Israel "Cachao" Lopez.
This version for a saxophone quartet starts with a classical style. Later, the melody changes at letter A with a Calipso rhythm, an original genre from the Caribbean coasts. The piece takes again its classical music character at letter J and finishes with a calipso rhythm.
The use of percussion is optional.
