Product Description
This is a Tagalog Catholic Mass song specifically composed for the Ordinary season. This is part of a 5-song composition project I did for the treble (SSA) chorus. Melody is notated and chords are written as well.
We walk through the life and ministry of Jesus during Ordinary Time. While Christs mission is revealed to us, we, too, realize our mission in this world. Isang Bagay captures this mission, which is inspired by prayers of St. Ignatius of Loyola and Sta. Teresa de Avila.
Grant me, O Lord my God,
a mind to know you
a heart to seek you,
wisdom to find you,
conduct pleasing to you, faithful perseverance in waiting for you, and a hope of finally embracing you. Amen.
- St. Ignatius of Loyola
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things are passing away
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.
- Sta. Teresa de Avila
