Product Description
Opening with a lyrical flute solo with flowing interjections from other woodwinds, this piece, after a slow introduction, bursts into a fast-paced theme in the low voices. A staccato theme then segues into the original theme presented by the solo flute. A slow, expressive section featuring multiple soloists follows. The piece is brought to an exhilarating conclusion with presto percussion and flourishing woodwinds over huge chordal hits. Medium- to advanced-intermediate in difficulty while still exciting and challenging, this piece should be playable by many high school concert bands or community bands.
