This beautiful piece was composed by Camille Saint-Saens in February of 1886 as a cello solo with two piano accompaniment.

In 2013, I transcribed this movement from THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS for solo piano.

This arrangement is clearly notated with dynamic marks, phrasing, suggested fingerings, pedal indications, chord identifications and appropriate musical terms for playing.

As a wonderful recital and encore selection, this piano transcription is excellent for professionals and students.
