Jazz Flute Choir (Piccolo, C flutes 1-4 with divisi in parts 2 and 3, alto and bass) is set
up with a recurring pyramid accompaniment figure that mimics the motion of a rocking cradle.
Set up in straight eighth notes, it features the melody played by C flute solo, the first
flute section with piccolo, and the entire choir in six-part jazz harmony.
Technically moderate, but haunting and beautiful!
