Product Description

Pax e concordia means "peace from harmony".  The piece combines the texts "Dona nobis pacem", "Shalom chaverim", and Salaam aleykum. All of these texts, from three major world religions, speak of peace and are combined here in a prayer for peace delivered through music.

This work was inspired by Renaissance motets and should be performed using the same performance practices. Purity of tone should be emphasized and vibrato kept to a minimum. Moving lines should be sung expressively, while longer tones should swell. (Unless otherwise indicated.) The tempo may be slowed, depending on the acoustical quality of the performance space.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
