I am a Pro Musician who studied at Trinity College of music and the Royal Academy of music. A career recording and performing Classically, with varied genres of Jazz ensembles, Calypso Bands, Pop etc in the UK and worldwide on Clarinets, Saxophones and Flutes. I have honed my arranging as a Band Leader and Head of section at a private school, an ideal role to arrange, test and perform the transcriptions and ensure that they work in a performance setting and not just sound effective on Sibelius. Having an understanding of the levels of ability is key when writing for the varied ensembles as shown in my channel. I continue to endeavour to provide a helpful arrangement by adding more options for the rhythm section which includes those that approach music by reading notation through transcribing as closely to the original recordings whilst adding the chords for those that prefer to use their creativity. Keeping the end user in mind, for string sections, I have begun adding pre-bowed parts and also without, so that conductors can ask their own ensemble to bow with their preferences. It is exciting to think that my arrangements are being performed in the various countries and hope that those that have chosen them have enjoyed the end result.
