Christine Hulmer

Christine Hulmer has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Ed. from the University of WI - Superior and a Master's Degree in Education from St. Scholastica University, Duluth MN.  She taught in the WI public school system from 1984 through 2017 and taught at Northland College, Ashland WI, from 2017 to 2025.  She covered eveything from Band, Jazz Ensemble, Choir, Class Guitar, Class Piano, to K-12 curriculum.  She has served as a clinician for the NWMA Honors Band events and is a Master Adjudicator with the WI School Music Association.   She serves as Secretary for the Ashland Rotary Club and is on the Board of the Ashland Chamber Music Society and the Ashland WI Music Boosters.
She currently resides in Ashland and volunteers teaching music at a local private school, continues with piano students, and writes and arranges music.  In the summer she serves as House Manager at BigTop Chatauqua in Bayfield WI and plays music with several groups including; Golden Era Jazz and the Chequamegon Bay Jazz Collective.
She is married to a great guy and they have four handsome sons, three beautiful daughter in laws, and five absolutely gorgeous grandchildren :) (no bias here)
