Diana Mascari Music

Diana Mascari is a graduate of Holy Cross College, holds Master of Music Degrees in Jazz Studies and Classical Composition from New England Conservatory and taught as a graduate assistant in the Theory Department at Boston University where she was enrolled in the doctoral program. Her teachers have included Lukas Foss, Charles Fussell, Marjorie Merryman, Joseph Maneri and William Thomas McKinley.  

Ms. Mascari's compositions have been performed internationally in Europe and Japan, as well as in prominent U.S. cities such as Boston, Washington, and New York. Her work has been showcased at prestigious venues including Lincoln Center and Carnegie Recital Hall. 

In addition to her composing career, Diana Mascari has dedicated nearly five decades to private teaching and served as the Music Director for the Hartford Street Presbyterian Church for 41 years. She has also been an active jazz pianist for over 40 years, highlighting her versatile musicianship and commitment to music.
