Donald Jay Smith Music

Recently retired from a 46 year career in music education, "Doc" Smith is enjoying having the time to share many of the arrangements that he had done for his wide range of ensembles (middle school-university/professional) throughout his career. His ensembles included award winning bands, orchestras, small ensembles and jazz ensembles. He is also working on current projects including arrangements for the Jamestown Community Band and Beatles Shabbat/Broadway Shabbat collections. In addition, he is also enjoying hosting a podcast about "the stuff" that happens in community music ensembles "Town Band Banter with Doc and Dave" available on all streaming platforms.
