Product Description

The 12 Contredanses (Country Dances) were composed between 1792 and 1802 for the public dances which formed a large part of the Viennese social scene. They were written for small orchestra and have been arranged for woodwind quintet. No. 7 will be familiar also from the final movement of the Eroica symphony and also from the music for "The Creatures of Prometheus."
Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy these short pieces which are intended to be played as a continuous set.
