Product Description

Bruckner's Am Grabe (At the Grave) WAB 2 is an elegy he composed for a cappella four men's voice choir in 1861 for the funeral of Josephine Hafferl. It is a short but powerful setting of a sacred poem of three verses by Ernst von Marinelli.

Jeff Reynolds has arranged this gorgeous work for 4-part Trombone Ensemble (Trombone Quartet) with an optional contrabass trombone part (it adds a lot of depth) playable on bass trombone.

This work in appropriate for intermediate performers (1st part is in tenor clef).
