A beautiful, new Christmas hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann Snowball. See text below:
Sweet Mary was Gods chosen one To bring the world his Son.
As she accepted graciously His kingly plan was won.
Her waiting would seem endless Till in the dark of night
A cry was heard, in Bethlehem, Which brought the earth new light.
Though Mary was his mother there, Paternity was rare,
For this Son, too, was chosen by The Father He would share.
This Baby Boy was Jesus! Descending from above,
His body and his spirit merged Because of Fathers love.
Soon Marys Child became the One To offer charity.
His life portrayed the greatest gift, And given selflessly.
The Father gave the Savior So then His Son could die.
And, too, because of Marys gift We can be justified.
Oh, as we offer gratitude, The wonder of Gods gifts
Instills in us his flawless sight; He lends us power to lift.
And as we trust him fully Our faith expands and grows,
So we can also proffer gifts Like Mary long ago.
