Product Description

This short intermediate piece was written for a former student of mine. It has a sentimental, melancholy quality. The 12/8 time signature is a challenge for some younger students, and the syncopation and coordination found in the first phrase may take some initial work. Otherwise, the tune is fairly straight forward. The left-hand ostinato pattern is maintained throughout all but a couple measures. Be sure to properly balance the melody, keeping the left-hand accompaniment in the background.
