"Nessun Dorma" is an aria for tenor voice from the three-act opera Turandot by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924). Puccini began work on the opera in 1920-21 and left it unfinished at his death in November, 1924. It was later completed by another composer. Turandothas became a staple of the standard operatic repertoire and is it today one of the most often-performed opera in the world.
