Crucially arranged for an orchestra without any violists, the third violin part covers it where possible and the cello takes on the line whenever the viola C string is used in the original. Successfully used by a youth ensemble who otherwise couldn't play these string masterpieces. A viola part off IMSLP would fit exactly if your ensemble had an outnumbered viola section.
