Product Description

A piece for classical piano trio where the instruments rarely agree on the precise time signature. They all follow a greater 18/8 time signature (with one exception), but the Cello is usually in 5/4 + 4/4, the Violin is usually in 9/8 + 9/8 while the piano is usually in some form of quarter note pulse.

The piece is begins and ends with a main theme where the Violin and Cello carry distinct simultaneous melodies with the Piano accompanying both. In the middle, each instrument gets their turn as lead, where the time signature disagreements only continue.

Part scores included. Conductor's score is 9 pages. Piano part is 5 pages. Violin and Cello parts are 2 pages each.
