Product Description

Suite Hébraïque is a 3-movement work composed in 1951 for viola and piano by Ernest Bloch, which he subsequently arranged for viola and small orchestra. The piece draws upon Jewish music, and it simulates the blow of a shofar. Suite Hébraïque is similar in style to another of Bloch's compositions, Baal Shem for violin and orchestra (1939). This arrangement of the second movement, Processional, for woodwind orchestra was originally created for Bloomsbury Woodwind Ensemble (London, UK) and features a trio of soloists (flute, oboe, clarinet) against the supporting ensemble.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
