This is a sweet, old-timey lilt of a tune. It was written to demonstrate a songwriting process starting with melody. It's the story of a fella who wants to take his beloved out for a stroll so that he can propose marriage. Lots of great Classic Barbershop harmonies. A great second song in a show set or for a strolling gig. A quartet could actually stroll and sing this little ditty.
