The reconstruction of this concerto was commissioned in 2019 by the Roman Baroque Academy and realized by Santino Cara from the autograph manuscript Mus.2389-O-123, RISM ID no.: 212000134 kept at the Sächsische Landesbibliothek - Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek. It was composed by Antonio Vivaldi in Venice between 1716 and 1717 especially for his friend the German violinist and composer Johann Georg Pisendel as reported in the diascalia on the manuscript, although the dedication was added later by Vivaldi. The first printed edition of this concerto dates back to 2019, the same year of the reconstruction. Finally, I would like to remind you that the concerto, in addition to the complete score, also includes all the separate parts, all in a single pdf file.
