Product Description

The Concertino, Op. 18 was originally written for Violin and Piano by music educator and composer, Leo Portnoff. Written to be a pedagogical concertino working on the first to third positions, the melodious passages and rewarding challenges motivates students to go beyond their level and continue perfecting their skills.

Arranged for Violin and String Orchestra / Ensemble, with an optional Doublebass part.
The difficulty of the tutti part is expected at around intermediate, allowing student orchestras to accompany the solo.

Movements:
I Allegro moderato
II Andante cantabile
III Finale: Allegro, Candenza ad. lib.
