This is the second song in a cycle set to poems by Alfred Tennyson. The original poem is entitled "Crossing the Bar".  It's an art song and very appropriate for recitals and competitions.  The range is medium so it can easily be performed by all voice types.  The YouTube link was recorded while I was demonstrating the song to a friend.
