Jingle Bossa Bells for Percussion Ensemble is everyones favorite Jingle Bells set to a Bossa Nova beat. The sound of claves, maracas and cowbell provide that Latin flavor to the song. The mallet percussion instruments provide the melody and accompaniment with a bit of syncopation to really set the mood. Great for a Christmas or Holiday Concert for a percussion ensemble or as a percussion feature at any band concert. There are 4 mallet percussion parts that require xylophone, vibraphone and a 4 octave or higher marimba two marimba parts can be played in the same instrument. The marimba 2 part is written in bass clef and an optional treble clef version is also included. Auxiliary percussion instruments fill out the ensemble, including a timpani part for 2 standard size drums. For smaller ensembles, the timpani, cowbell and suspended cymbal parts can be omitted if desired. This arrangement is ideal for middle school, junior high or even high school groups that want a real audience pleaser.
