This was written for a concert by The Texas Voices entitled The Joy of Food (Alan Dyer, Director, Jim Loeffler, Accompanist). This was also an opportunity for the audience to donate food for a local pantry. When I thought about what I could contribute to this concert, the same song kept coming into my head. After hearing this song, you will hear bits and pieces from Theodorakas (Zorba the Greek), Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi. For the use, misuse of this wonderful music, I seek forgiveness.
