Product Description

This is a simple, straightforward arrangement for Wind Quintet, in a fairly easy key, that can be happily tackled by players with about a year's tuition behind them.

When not composing all the mighty works for which he is known, Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 1827) also produced some great little potboilers for 'Harmonie', the German word denoting a small wind ensemble. 'Harmoniemusik' was usually played outdoors, and the music ranged from small forms, such as marches, polonaises, ecossaises and other dances, to multi-movement works such as the Serenades of Mozart and the great Octet in Eb major Op. 103 by Beethoven himself. This particular march was originally scored for the then traditional line-up of two clarinets, two bassoons and two horns.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
